Archives : आमुख

Aamukh was a Hindi quarterly literary magazine born during the stormy times of the mid 1960s and continued to be published till 2004. During this turbulent period, which witnessed the birth, demise and eventual rebirth of revolutionary movements, Aamukh was an important chronicler of the revolutionary aspirations of the Indian people through poems, short stories and essays. On the occasion of 50 years of the publication of Aamukh, we are happy to present an archive for the digitized versions of all 45 editions of the magazine, which we will be uploaded gradually. We thank Kanchan Kumar, the editor of Aamukh, for providing the original copies of the magazine, Abhishek Bhattacharya, a researcher, and Roja Muthiah Research Library, Chennai, for digitizing the copies and Tusharkanti, activist and writer, for writing an introduction in Hindi, for the Aamukh archives.
