Report by National Campaign for Denotified and Nomadic Tribes Human Rights on the Killings of Poor Woodcutter

March 27, 2015

[This report by the National Campaign for DNT (Denotified and Nomadic Tribes) Human Rights sheds light on the killings and jailings of poor woodcutters on the pretext of fighting smuggling of red sanders. The poverty and generalised deprivation that lures some of the poor woodcutters into working for the smugglers is also discussed in an earlier report on Sanhati – Ed.]
