You are probably aware that the Indo-US Agricultural Knowledge Initiative has resulted in major problems in India’s farm sector. It seems that the conspiracy of national and international big business to gain control over the country’s agriculture is rapidly becoming a reality. It is our responsibility to make the common people aware of this dangerous attack on Indian agriculture.
A public convention is being organised on 8th May at the Calcutta University Institute to discuss these issues. In this convention, leading scientists, health workers, educationists, peasant leaders, and democratic rights activists of West Bengal will be participating.
